Good to know

A few practical points that save time.

  1. Use accounts in your own name

Payments to and from third parties are not accepted, because we have to match each payment to a verified client.

  2. Minimum starting capital is $250

Plan limits and what each plan offers are on the fees page.

  3. Currency conversion

If your payment is not in the account currency, a conversion charge of up to 1.50% can apply. It is shown before you confirm.

  4. Card issuers vary

Some Canadian card issuers treat trading platform payments as cash advances. Ask your issuer before depositing by credit card.
