AML and financial-crime controls

A real programme, not a badge.

TradeX AI maintains an AML/ATF programme that covers client identification, transaction monitoring, record keeping, mandatory reporting to the authorities and controls designed to prevent financial crime. Staff who handle onboarding and payments are trained on it, and procedures are reviewed when the rules change.

The programme is built to meet the requirements that apply to money services businesses in Canada. Registration numbers and status are confirmed directly on request instead of being displayed as decoration. You can read how identity checks work in practice on the AML / KYC page.

CIRO and crypto asset regulation

Our internal control framework takes into account the requirements that apply to regulated crypto asset trading platforms, including the relevant Investment Dealer rules, CIRO requirements and the rules of provincial and territorial regulators.

That includes how clients are onboarded, how risks are explained before an account is funded, how conflicts of interest are handled and how complaints are escalated. Where a service must be provided by a registered firm, we say so and do not blur the line.

Regulatory transparency

Our commitment

TradeX AI works to maintain the registrations, permissions and compliance procedures that its services require in each relevant jurisdiction, and to update this page when something changes.

What regulation does not do

Regulation does not eliminate investment risk and does not guarantee profit. Digital assets are exposed to market volatility and other risks, which are set out in the risk disclosure.
