Withdrawal policy

When and how you can take money out of your TradeX AI account, what we check first and what can slow a payment down.

01Introduction

This policy sets out how withdrawals work on TradeX AI. By submitting a withdrawal request, you confirm that you have read it and agree to it. It should be read with the deposit and withdrawal methods page, which lists each method, its type, fee and typical processing time.

02Available methods

You can withdraw by Interac e-Transfer to your Canadian bank account, to the Visa or Mastercard card you used to deposit where your issuer supports it, to a PayPal account, or by bank wire. Where practical, money is returned by the same route it arrived, which is a standard protection against fraud and money laundering.

If you have moved assets from a crypto exchange, withdrawals of those assets go back to the exchange account you connected, not to a new address.

03Processing times

Once a request has been approved, Interac e-Transfer and PayPal withdrawals are normally completed within 24 hours, bank wires within 1–3 business days and card refunds within 1–5 business days. Business days exclude weekends and Canadian public holidays.

These are typical times, not promises. Your bank, card issuer or payment provider can add delay on its side, and the times above begin when we approve the request and not when you submit it.

04Fees and costs

TradeX AI does not charge a fee for withdrawing. Your bank or intermediary may apply its own charges, particularly on incoming wires, and we cannot see or control these. The amount you will receive is shown on the confirmation screen before you submit the request.

05Limits

The smallest withdrawal depends on the method and is shown in your dashboard. Payment providers and card networks set their own daily and monthly maximums, and we may apply further limits to protect your account, for example for a newly verified client or a newly added destination.

If you need to withdraw more than a limit allows, ask your account manager. A large withdrawal can often be split or arranged by wire.

06KYC and AML checks

Before your first withdrawal, and sometimes again later, we need your identity to be verified under the rules described on the KYC and AML page. We may ask for a document, proof that a bank account or card is yours, or the source of the funds. Payment will only be made to an account in your own name.

07Reasons for delay or refusal

A withdrawal can be delayed or declined when the details do not match your verified information, a document is missing or unreadable, further checks are required, a payment provider rejects the transfer, or there is a technical or regulatory reason we cannot proceed. If we think the request may not be from you, we will pause it and contact you on the details we hold.

We always tell you the reason when the law allows it, and what you can do to resolve it.

08Your responsibility

You are responsible for entering correct bank, card and wallet details. A payment sent to wrong details supplied by you may be difficult or impossible to recover, and we cannot be held responsible for it. Check every digit before you confirm, and keep your registered contact details up to date.

09Cancelling or changing a request

You can cancel a withdrawal from your dashboard while its status is "Pending". Once it has been approved and sent to the payment provider, it can no longer be cancelled or changed, and any dispute is handled with the provider. If you need to change the destination, cancel the request first and submit a new one, which will trigger the usual security checks.

10Support

If you have a question about a withdrawal, ask your account manager or email [email protected] with your request reference. We usually reply within one business hour, and urgent matters can be raised by callback at any time.

11Updates to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law, payment methods or our procedures. The new version applies from the moment it is published on this page, and a request made before a change is handled under the version that applied when it was submitted. If a change is significant, we will tell clients by email.
