[ PLATFORM GUIDE ]

Getting started with TradeX AI

A four-step guide for people who are using the platform for the first time. When you have followed it, you will have a secure account, a connected exchange, monitoring that fits what you want to follow and a clear idea of how to read the dashboard.

You do not need to know how to read a chart. Each step says what to do, why it matters and what to watch out for, and your account manager is on the phone if you would like to do any of it together.

What you will need

Gather these first and the four steps below take well under an hour.

An email you check

Login alerts, verification messages and reports are sent there.

A mobile phone

For the call from your account manager and for your authenticator app.

Photo ID

A passport or driver's licence for identity verification before withdrawals.

An exchange account

One in your own name, if you want the platform to trade crypto assets on it.

Step 1: Register your account

Five minutes, including the security setup.

Fill in the registration form with your first and last name, an email address you check often and a mobile number that can take calls. You land on the platform straight away, and a personal account manager calls you, usually within 24 hours, to confirm the details and answer first questions.

Then set a strong password. A long phrase that you do not use anywhere else is better than a short one with symbols, and a password manager makes this painless. Switch on two-factor authentication in your first session, because it is mandatory for every account.

  • Use a unique password for this account only
  • Scan the 2FA QR code with an authenticator app and store the backup codes offline
  • Check that the address bar shows tradexai.org before you type anything

The platform trades through an exchange account that you hold in your own name. You give it access through an API key, which is a pair of codes that the exchange creates for you. Open your exchange account, find the API settings, create a new key and paste the codes into the Connections screen in your dashboard.

The permissions you give the key matter a great deal. Allow reading balances and placing trades, and do not allow withdrawals. If the key cannot withdraw, a leaked key cannot send your money elsewhere. If your exchange lets you limit a key to certain IP addresses, add the ones your account manager gives you.

Common slip: creating one API key and reusing it everywhere. Make a separate key for each connection so you can delete one without disturbing the rest.

If the connection fails, the most common causes are a missing permission, a copied space at the end of a code or a key that has been restricted to the wrong IP address. Your manager can check this with you.

Step 2: Connect your exchange

Use an API key with limited permissions.

Step 3: Set up analysis and monitoring

Choose what to follow and how to be told.

Pick the trading pairs you want the platform to follow, for example Bitcoin or Ether against the US dollar. The platform starts with a sensible ready-made strategy, and you can change its settings with your manager at any time. Conditions such as the amount per trade and the level at which the system pauses are visible and editable.

Then decide how you want to hear from the platform. Notifications can be sent by email or by push when an order is executed, when a strategy pauses and when something needs your attention. Market monitoring runs around the clock, including while you sleep, so it is the notification settings that decide how much you hear about it.

Start with fewer pairs and fewer alerts rather than more. It is easier to add than to understand a flood of messages in the first week.

Common slip: switching on every alert type on day one, then muting them all by day three. Choose two, and add more only when you miss them.

The dashboard has four areas you will use most. The overview shows your balance, today's activity and the status of each strategy. The reports area explains what the system did and why. The strategies area lets you start, pause or change a strategy. The security area lists sessions, devices and the audit log.

Check the dashboard briefly each day at first, then weekly once you are comfortable. If you change a setting, look at the audit log afterwards to confirm that the change was recorded as you meant it. You can pause a strategy whenever you like, and a pause takes effect for new orders straight away.

When you need a deposit or a withdrawal, use the payments area, and read the methods page so that you know the usual timings in advance.

Step 4: View and manage your dashboard

Four areas, one daily glance.

Important notes

No guarantee of profit

The platform analyses markets and acts by rule, and it cannot know what prices will do. You can lose some or all of the money you put in. Read the risk disclosure before you deposit, and never commit money you cannot afford to lose.

Your decisions

You are responsible for the investment decisions you make and for the settings you choose.

Start small

You can begin from $250. Many people use their first weeks to watch how reports look before adding more, and nothing obliges you to increase your deposit.

Review regularly

Set a weekly time to read your reports and the audit log, and adjust or pause a strategy if it no longer matches what you want.

Ask early

If a setting or a figure is unclear, call your account manager before acting on it. A two-minute question is cheaper than a wrong click.

Do step one now

Register in about two minutes and your account manager will help with the rest.
